  You can start up meetings for a better world somewhere in the world via Idealist. Currently, there is an initiative to create a global network, that you can help grow. In the last month, there have been 300 meetings in 70 countries. In March, there will be a second round of meetings. Check out this lively video clip of the meeting in New York:

  Van Jones video: Call for social equity in the green movement: 

   

  I urge you to watch this video. I saw Van Jones give this speech ath the Green Festival and he was brilliant. The Executive Director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Van lays out a model for a green movement, which "lifts everyone's boat up". He describes how the green movement has been largely a white middle-class affair and that we need a reframe.

  Sustainability is about love for all life. Yes, dreamfishers, I was almost jumping out of my seat. Many of us were crying in the audience. Van has launched an ambitious program to bring environmentally-friendly businesses to Oakland and to create green jobs for Oakland youth.

  How do we respond to Van's call? It also has me thinking about how we walk our talk at Dreamfish. Where we locate the office of Dreamfish. Move to Oakland? Or should Dreamfish office move into the Thoreau Center for Sustainability the Presidio, next to other international nonprofits?   Hunter Lovins, who co-wrote Natural Capitalism with Paul Hawkin and Amory Lovins, is on faculty at Presidio School of Management. In this interview at the Green Festival conference in Washington D.C., Hunter explains the features and purpose of an MBA in Sustainable Management.
